These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Taganize products, tags, and the website platform operated by Taganize, Inc. ("Taganize," "we," "us"). By purchasing a tag or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Taganize provides physical NFC/QR tags and a hosted digital profile ("website") for your pet. Scanning a tag opens its website, which can display the information you choose to share and, when enabled, lost-and-found contact tools.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or place an order.
Prices are shown at checkout and are subject to change. Payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. Your order ships only after payment is confirmed. Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed once a package is accepted by the carrier.
Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
The optional Service Dog ID card is a personal, informational tool only. It is not an official document and grants no legal rights, access, or status. Use of that feature is subject to the separate terms presented when you activate it. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of any information you enter.
The Taganize name, logo, software, and platform are owned by Taganize, Inc. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and you grant us the limited license needed to host and display it as part of providing the service.
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that a lost pet will be recovered, that a tag will always be scannable, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Physical tags are durable but not indestructible. We take reasonable steps to protect and back up the content you upload, but we do not guarantee that it will be kept indefinitely or recovered in every case. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any photos or records that matter to you.
If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law, including New York's SHIELD Act.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taganize is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
You agree to hold Taganize harmless from claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
